Stark VARG SM SKÖLL UK: Price, Specification & Buying Guide

The Stark VARG SM SKÖLL is an 80HP Alpha supermoto limited to 500 numbered motorcycles worldwide. It adds a black finish, titanium equipment, a distinctive seat and Dynamic Traction Control to the VARG SM platform. MotoEbikes lists it at £12,990, checked 12 October 2026.

The buying decision is whether that edition’s equipment and finish justify the premium over the standard SM Alpha. Limited production does not guarantee future value or a particular UK allocation.

These are published specifications, not results from a MotoEbikes riding test. Check the final order specification and current software features for the bike you are buying.

SKÖLL versus the standard SM Alpha

The standard VARG SM 80HP Alpha is listed at £11,900 at MotoEbikes. On those checked prices, SKÖLL costs £1,090 more. It remains a VARG SM; the headline 80HP output is not unique to the limited edition.

Stark attributes a weight reduction of approximately 1.1 kg to the titanium equipment. Treat that as a manufacturer equipment claim, not a measured handling improvement. The black finish and numbered identity are the more visible reasons to choose the edition.

If you primarily want the supermoto platform and Alpha output, compare the standard model’s final configuration and price. If you specifically want SKÖLL, establish what is included, which numbered bike is available and the expected delivery date before paying a reservation.

Does the Medium suspension suit you?

Stark describes the supplied Medium setup for approximately 75–95 kg riders. Ask how the supplier applies that range to rider weight and riding kit, and discuss setup if you fall outside it. A special edition’s specification should fit the rider; a numbered plaque does not compensate for unsuitable suspension setup.

Check reach to the controls, footing, parking manoeuvres and loading arrangements. Stark lists a 93.5 cm seat height for SKÖLL, but seat-height figures alone do not establish how a bike will fit an individual rider.

Range and charging: what can you rely on?

The 7.2 kWh capacity does not establish a fixed UK-road range. Road speed, conditions, tyres, rider mass and riding style affect consumption. We have not measured a separate MotoEbikes SKÖLL range figure and would not infer one from its weight saving.

Stark quotes two hours at 240 V and 3.5 hours at 120 V for the listed charging setup. Confirm the supplied UK connection, suitable circuit and permitted current setting; do not assume maximum charging power is available from every domestic socket.

Is SKÖLL road legal, and which licence is needed?

Stark presents SKÖLL as a road-homologated VARG SM. Road approval and the rider’s entitlement remain separate checks. Match the exact bike’s Certificate of Conformity and registration details to the appropriate licence category, insurance and road-use requirements.

UK availability and what to ask before reserving

At the time of checking, Stark’s UK page displayed SKÖLL as out of stock. That does not establish whether a particular dealer allocation is available. Contact MotoEbikes for the position on a specific bike rather than treating the worldwide production limit as a live stock counter.
