Getting your bike home to Hampshire
Do not plan on riding home to the south coast. Portsmouth is about 47 miles from us, and the Light Bee L1e has a claimed range of up to 46.6 miles at 24.9 mph. Real range depends on your weight, speed and the weather, so choose delivery or bring a van.
The South Downs National Park and the New Forest are not places to ride an off-road model unless a landowner has given you permission. Off-road models such as the Surron Light Bee X and Hyper Bee are for private land with the landowner's permission, or a track that allows them. You cannot ride them on roads, pavements, footpaths, bridleways, parks or commons. Police can seize a bike ridden illegally.
