Growing riders who want the core 16-inch REVVI platform.
5 years +
Riders wanting a more capable 16-inch setup while staying on a balance-bike format.

Confident riders ready for a substantial jump in power, suspension and braking.
8 years +
Older riders stepping into a larger, faster off-road platform.
10 years +
Bigger riders wanting more speed, size and off-road ability.

THE DECISIONS PARENTS ACTUALLY FACE
When two models overlap by age, choose by physical fit and riding ability rather than age alone.
REVVI 12 is the smaller starting point for ages 2–6. REVVI 16 starts at age 5 and gives a larger 16-inch platform with a 250W brushless motor. For a younger or physically smaller rider, start with the 12; for a confident rider who properly fits the larger bike, compare the 16.
Both use a 16-inch wheel and 24V 5.2Ah battery. The choice is less about headline size and more about the exact chassis, equipment and the rider’s confidence. Use the product pages to compare the current component specification before ordering.
This is a meaningful step. REVVI 16 XL starts from age 6 and jumps to a 600W brushless hub motor with higher speed modes and a more substantial suspension/braking setup. Choose XL only when the rider is physically and technically ready for that increase.
REVVI 18 starts from age 8 with a 500W motor and 18-inch wheel. REVVI 20 starts from age 10, moves to an 800W motor and a larger 20-inch platform. Size, reach and rider confidence should decide this step-up.
Both use 20-inch wheels, but the Plus is a major performance jump: 48V 15Ah and up to 1500W peak compared with the standard 20’s 36V 7.5Ah and 800W motor. The Plus is for a more experienced rider, not simply a faster version for the same beginner.
REVVI 24 starts from age 12 and uses the same 48V 15Ah / 1500W-peak performance tier as the 20 Plus, but on a larger 24-inch platform. Move up when the rider needs the physical size and can confidently control the power.
BUYING RULE
A child can fall inside a manufacturer age band and still be too small, too tall or not yet confident enough for that model. Check that the rider can comfortably control the bike, reach the controls and manage the weight before moving up.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Practical answers for parents comparing the REVVI range.
Start with the manufacturer age guide, then check physical fit, reach, strength and riding experience. If the rider sits between two models, compare the smaller and larger bike rather than buying on age alone.
REVVI lists the 12-inch model for ages 2–6, making it the normal starting point for a 3-year-old. Physical fit and supervision still matter.
At age 5, the REVVI 12, REVVI 16 and REVVI 16 Plus can all fall within the published age guidance. The right choice depends on the child’s height, reach, confidence and experience.
REVVI models use selectable speed settings, with the exact number and speeds depending on the bike. Parents should use the lower setting while a rider is learning and only increase it when appropriate.
Top speed varies by model. The range runs from 5 / 10 mph modes on REVVI 12 up to 15.5 / 22 / 30 mph modes on REVVI 24.
Runtime depends on model, speed setting, rider weight and conditions. REVVI quotes about 40 minutes of constant use on the faster REVVI 12 setting and longer on slower settings; other models differ.
Charge time varies by model. REVVI quotes roughly 2.5–3 hours for REVVI 12 and around 2 hours 50 minutes for REVVI 16 XL. Check the exact product manual/specification for the bike you own.
Several REVVI models use removable batteries, but battery design and voltage differ by model. Check the specification for the exact bike before buying a spare battery.
These bikes are intended for private-land/off-road use unless a specific vehicle is legally approved, registered and insured for road use. Do not assume a REVVI can be ridden on public roads, pavements or cycle paths.
A properly fitted helmet is the minimum. REVVI also recommends additional protection such as knee and elbow pads and suitable riding clothing.
Yes. MotoEbikes has a dedicated REVVI parts and accessories collection. Choose the exact bike model first because compatibility differs across REVVI 12, 16, 16 Plus, 16 XL, 18, 20, 20 Plus and 24.
No. Do not assume chargers or batteries are interchangeable simply because two bikes are both REVVI. Voltage, capacity and connectors can differ. Match the replacement part to the exact model.
