24kW vs 24.5kW: how close are they really?
On paper, peak power is now almost identical between the two bikes. But headline power tells you very little about how a bike actually rides. The Ultra Bee HP puts its power through a chassis that is 23.5kg heavier and carries 110N·m more wheel torque, so that power is spread across a bigger, more stable platform. The Light Bee 2 delivers nearly the same peak output through a much lighter frame, which means the power feels sharper and more immediate underneath you.

This is likely the single biggest difference between these two bikes, bigger than anything in the spec table. At 65kg, the Light Bee 2 keeps the classic Light Bee character: easy to pick up, easy to flick through tight sections, and manageable for riders who are still building confidence. At 88.5kg, the Ultra Bee HP rides like a genuinely bigger motorcycle. It plants harder into corners and stays composed at speed, but it also takes more physical effort to manoeuvre at low speed, in technical sections, or if you need to pick it up.
If you have ridden a full-size petrol dirt bike before, the Ultra Bee HP will feel familiar. If you have not, the Light Bee 2's lighter weight will be easier to live with while you build skill.
