Which model is best for a new rider?+
The best model depends on your size, experience, licence and where you plan to ride. The Light Bee is often the most approachable adult starting point, while larger Sur-Ron models deliver more power and motorcycle presence. MotoEbikes can help you compare them in Guildford.
Road legal and licence
Are these bikes road legal in the UK?+
Sur-Ron offers both off-road bikes and road-legal variants. Only a correctly approved, registered, taxed, insured and roadworthy version may be used on public roads. Off-road models must only be ridden where you have lawful permission.
What licence do I need?+
Road-legal Sur-Ron models are classed as mopeds or motorcycles, not ordinary pedal-assisted e-bikes. The licence or CBT required depends on the model, its approved vehicle category, your age and existing entitlement. Check the specific bike before riding.
Range and charging
How long does the battery take to charge?+
Charging time varies by model, battery size, charger and remaining charge. Many Sur-Ron batteries recharge in a few hours using the supplied charger, but always use the exact figure on the product page and follow the manufacturer’s charging instructions.

Yes, finance may be available on eligible Sur-Ron electric motorbikes. MotoEbikes is a credit broker, not a lender. Finance is subject to status, affordability and lender approval. Applicants must be 18 or over, and the deposit, term and monthly payment depend on the application and bike.
What warranty support is available?+
Warranty cover varies by model, component and the terms applying when the bike is supplied. Buying through MotoEbikes gives you official-dealer support and a clear route for valid warranty enquiries. Ask the team to confirm the current cover for your chosen Sur-Ron before purchase.
Delivery and test rides
Can I test ride before buying?+
Test rides are not currently available on SurRon bikes. You are welcome to come to the showroom and see and sit on the bikes.
Can I collect from Guildford?+
